Nextcloud Troubleshooting

Nextcloud is clearly a popular choice when it comes to a self-hostable sync-and-share platform. But that doesn’t mean it’s perfect and entirely polished. There are issues from time to time, and especially for new users, the resources available to them are either overwhelming or hard to interpret.

While Nextcloud does provide some basic troubleshooting in their Admin documentation, it tends to fall a bit short. As of writing this, there are only 10 issues listed. Their official recommendation is to post on their forums. While this may work for some, many have reported that the website is rarely working or they are getting poor answers to their questions.

Many often end up turning to Reddit for help as it will often lead to quicker (but not always better) answers.
